EQUIDAYS - Balade au cœur du Haras des Etincelles

A neighbor of the prestigious Aga Khan Studs and the Haras des Monceaux, the Haras des Etincelles is a very young structure created in the summer of 2015 by Olivia Saelens, a former eventing rider. In Mesnil-Simon, in the heart of the Pays d?Auge, she transformed a former saddle horse stable into a stud farm. The name "Étincelles" rhymes perfectly with thoroughbred.
Today, the Haras des Etincelles has 20 boxes, a havrincourt ring, a lunging ring and all the equipment needed for foaling, pregnant and nursing mares, resting and working horses, as well as a stallion. The horses live mainly outdoors, and each meadow has its own shelter.

During the Equidays, the Haras des Etincelles opens its gates on Wednesday October 25 at 2pm, with a tour of the stud farm and a visit to the horses in the pasture, including a stroll around the paddocks: bring good walking shoes.
