October 1 to 25, 2024: 15th Génération Durable Festival
The Génération Durable Festival, created and run by the MJC in Bernay, has been touring Normandy (26 towns, 100 screenings, shows, meetings...) for the past 15 years, with the aim of offering a different way of looking at the world. A view embodied by the world of Life through new narratives.

Environment, Culture and Humanity are the three pillars of this intergenerational and multicultural Festival (films, shows, meetings?) in its environmentalist approach.

The driving objective is to unite as many people as possible around thought-provoking emotions, and to inspire spectators to take action

A vol d?oiseaux, encounters follow one another in three short films that evoke the fullness of connecting with the world of birds. "Le Tout petit voyage" follows the friendship between a little boy and a parakeet. Complicity between an old man and an injured seagull, and "L'Air de rien" takes us back to childhood? As for Ellie, a schoolgirl fascinated by animals, her adventure on bird island (l'île de Souzay) turns into a contemplation of "Drôles d'oiseaux"? Poetry soars in vivid, pastel colors, while watercolors lend a softness as light as a feather.
