October 1-25, 2024: 15th Génération Durable Festival
The Génération Durable Festival, created and run by the MJC in Bernay, has been touring Normandy (26 towns, 100 screenings, shows, meetings...) for the past 15 years, with the aim of offering a different way of looking at the world. A view embodied by the world of Life through new narratives.
Environment, Culture and Humanity are the three pillars of this intergenerational and multicultural Festival (films, shows, meetings?) in its environmentalist approach.
The driving objective is to unite as many people as possible around thought-provoking emotions, and to inspire spectators to take action

A quiet revolution is underway: three model farms in Doubs, Drome and Aude demonstrate that cohabitation with wildlife is not only possible, but beneficial for all. Negotiating with the fox? Offer strawberries to this natural predator of voles, devastating little rodents, and make it an ally like Michel, a dairy farmer... Mathieu reconciles ornithology and goat breeding by integrating mountain vultures into the life cycle of his herds. Thanks to polyculture and their virtuous practices, Elsa and Sébastien have transformed a desert into biodiversity.
